    We’re seeking a Quality Management Specialist to support our growing needs for child case management services. You’ll be a part of a team of subject matter experts who are tasked with the successful implementation of best practice standards across programs with the goal of improving the quality of services to the children and families that we serve.     Responsibilities

    YOU WILL:

    1.  Coordinate, support, training and evaluation of the continuous quality management process in specific divisions Monitor compliance with contract, funding sources, quality and accreditation standards; document results and report to Quality Management Manager and/or Regional Director of QM

    • Collect, compile and analyze various program data reports such as incident reports & satisfaction surveys, document results/recommendations and report to the Quality Management Manager and/or Regional Director of QM.
    • Train all team members on the QM process and issues relevant to QM.
    • Attend division safety committee meetings; educate committee members regarding safety issues, and assist members to seek solutions. Document results/recommendations and report to the Quality Management Manager and/or Regional Director of QM.
    • Plan, coordinate and facilitate quarterly peer record review in specified divisions. Document results/ recommendations and report to the Quality Management Manager and/or Regional Director of QM.
    • Plan, coordinate and facilitate quarterly peer record reviews and compile aggregate reports for the Quality Management Manager and/or Regional Director of QM. Assist in developing a process that will encourage teams to become self-sufficient.
    • Attend trainings and meetings that are QM specific. Disseminate information from trainings to appropriate staff.
    • Assess, recommend and coordinate staff training needs based on contractual requirement, document results/recommendations and report to the Quality Management Manager and/or Regional Director of QM.
    • Assist Division staff in revising/improving operational procedures, program forms and manuals, while maintaining consistency with similar programs.
    • Oversee statistical information relevant to QM is collected consistently and that the information is accurately reported within the specified time frames.
    • Conduct new employee QM orientation training.
    • Assist in the development of QM procedures.
    • Participate in strategic planning.
    • Provide support related to QM in the development of grant applications and funding proposals.
    • Provide support related to QM prior to and during funder/contract evaluation and/or negotiations.

     

    2.  Contribute to an engaging, positive work environment.  

    • Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality management process.
    • Comply with CHS policies, procedures, code of conduct, contracts and other legal obligations.
    • Assist with training other employees and providing back up when necessary.
    • Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
    • Demonstrate the CHS Values in the performance of all job duties

    Qualifications

    • Working knowledge of the Quality Management field
    • Strong organizational skills and a tireless focus on quality results
    • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to work well with diverse teams, clients and families
    • Resiliency, with a propensity to persevere in spite of constant change
    • A sincere passion for helping others in need

    YOU NEED:

    • Bachelor's degree in a Business or human services related field
    • One year experience in related field
    • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and database applications
