 We’re seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our growing needs for case management services. You’ll lead an integrated, direct care team charged with empowering children and families to find and build upon their strengths, to rise above the challenges and circumstances they face, and to open doors to new opportunities. Responsibilities

YOU WILL:

  • Supervise program and Supervisory staff including regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultation; oversee proper client to staff ratio.
  • Assist the Program Director in developing core competencies, coaching plans, and orientation for program staff.
  • Approve admission of clients to program; assign cases to program staff and oversee service delivery.
  • Provide support with in-crisis or problem cases; provide on-going assistance to program staff in coordinating services.
  • Review and monitor case files for both internal and external quality assurance standards.
  • Oversee services provided comply with contractual requirements.
  • Liaison to community agencies such as Dept. of Children and Families, Department of Juvenile Justice, etc. and attends closure or conference staffing.
  • Oversee program supervisors and staff completes all documentation and reports in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist in grant writing, contract negotiating or re-accreditation preparation.
  • Maintain and generate necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Provide direct supervision and casework in the absence of program staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity and seamless delivery of services on a day to day basis through staff supervision and performance monitoring in compliance with contract and CHS requirements.
  • Attend program related trainings, programs, community meetings, and activities.
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities specified in COA Standard TS 3:
      • Delegate and oversee work assignments so that service delivery is performed according to the organization's mission, policies and procedures and service philosophy
      • Provide case consultation and in-service training, as appropriate
      • Identify unmet training needs
      • Conduct performance evaluations
      • Support and enhance staff's ability to perform their jobs by teaching and modeling technical knowledge and skills, work management and communication skills and conflict management skills

 

Qualifications

YOU HAVE:

  • Working knowledge of the Human Services field
  • Strong organizational skills and a tireless focus on quality results
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to work well with diverse teams, clients and families
  • Resiliency, with a propensity to persevere in spite of constant change
  • A sincere passion for helping others in need

YOU NEED:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or comparable human services field
  • Minimum of two years experience working with children and families, preferably in the type of program that the Program Manager will be overseeing.
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • For Family Preservation and Stabilization Services, two years post-masters degree experience working with children and families, preferably in family preservation and stabilization
  • For Healthy Families services, three years management and administrative experience in human services or related programs
  • For Unaccompanied Alien Child/Minor Program, bilingual required (English/Spanish)
  • Please see COA (Council on Accreditation) standards for specific skills and knowledge that pertain to the program in which the Program Manager is working
  • Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire
